Tyler Going Home

Tyler will be going home on Saturday as
long as everything goes as planned! He
took his feeding tube out this morning and
the doctors decided that we would leave it
out and he would be taking his feeds all
by mouth since he is doing so well and was
only getting 2 by tube anyways.

Thank you for your responces I am very
excited that Tyler is finaly going to be
able to sleep in his own bed! He has a
bassinet that has a mobile that vibrates
the bassinet and it has teddy bears on it
with lights and music, it is sooo neat. He
also has a playpen bassinet with pooh bear
and my best friend got him a pooh crib
that has vibration. He will be going home
on meds but only one for his reflux (which
is pretty bad) I can't even put into words
how grateful I am that he is okay. There
was a baby girl that was born 3 days ago
at 1lb 11oz that passed away yesterday and
I didn't know the family personaly but it
still made me cry when they told me about
it. I can't imagine what that must feel
like. I know that we came pretty close to
being in that same boat and again would
like to thank all of you for praying for
him, I am sure that, that made a
difference in the outcome we recived. I
will let everyone know how things are
going as soon as I get another chance to
do so. Again from the very bottom of my
heart, THANK YOU ALL.

yaay!!! how exciting!!!!!!!!
He may have a hard time going to sleep
without all the noise of the nicu. I've
heard of this happening often. So white
noise, or beeping may soothe him for the
1st couple of weeks.

family. This must have been such a
difficult time for all of you and now you
