Hi. This is my first time on birth control pills. I'm on my second pack of Yasmin and I was wondering if I had to use an alternate method of birth control during the first 7 days of my taking the pill every month (since I started the first pack on the Sunday after my period). I'm a bit worried because I had unprotected sex (although he did not ejaculate inside of me) on the 5th day of my new pack, and if I'm supposed to do the 7 day thing every single month then I might be at risk for being pregnant.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
