Are being effaced and thinned out the same
thing?
I went to the doctor today and everything
is perfect with the baby (besides her
being big)
the doctor said i was 50% thinned out.. is
this the same thing as being effaced? my
cervix is still closed..
so is being thinned out good? could it
mean anything?
just curious, that and im having really
bad braxton hicks, just not with any
regularity and the baby is rolling from
side to side almost
oh yea and i have a bacterial infection..
woohoo for pregnancy...
hmm...i never thought shed be coming on
her own.. but i guess it seems a little
more possible now.

Yep, effaced and thinned are the same
thing. One of the first steps to labor
starting...although it could still take
weeks before you actually go into labor.
Sounds like it's getting really close for
you!!!

I know how you feel. I'm 32 weeks along
and the summer heat is really starting to
make me miserable. I just want this girl
outta me already!!!! Of course, I want
her to go to term...but I'm sick of being
pregnant. I know this sounds horrible
(and I cover the baby's ears everytime I
complain about it ),
but I have absolutely hated being
pregnant. I have been miserable from day
one. It's getting even worse now with the
heat and humidity...plus I'm still working
a 40 hour week. Blah........

hahah i feel you.
my biggest thing is i have body image
issues so it's been really tough on my ego
gaining weight and all that. its just
something i have to work out..
plus im so uncomfortable right now i dont
know what to do with myself.
i feel like i have a finish line in sight
right now which feels so good i cant even
put it into words.. it makes this all feel
a little bit more real.
and we got news on our house (finally!)
and have a move in date..
it feels like its been a good week

WOw.. how did you manage to get them to
check you? I haven't been checked yet at
all... GRRRRRRRRRR. I am going to make
sure that they check me next week because
I am getting tired of this. He is fully
engaged now, hence why I waddle like a
duck and feel like I have to pee every 3
minutes lol. Good luck girl.. the
countdown is definitely ON!!!

im sure at the next one theyll check it
out...it was sadly the most action ive
gotten in weeks getting checked.
