[quote="jaime_elms"]Hi there I had an abortion at 16 weeks, if u wanna pm me. Or have msn, get intouch hun

I just found out that I am pregnant yesterday. I am almost 5 months into it. I had the guts to tell my parents. My mom wants me to do an abortion. It's so hard for me. I am so stressed out. I don't know how much it would cost. I don't know what is going to happen to me. I don't know what procedure is going to take place. I don't know what it is called. I am so confused. I feel so unhuman like. Could u please tell me about it, please. I've search online and there's this thing called Partial abortion...is that what i would do? Crying or Very sad i'm so tired.

This is an abortion support forum. Don't worry, we are here to support you.

Could you tell us what country (or state) you are in? That would help some of the more knowledgable people tell you what you can expect.

Also, how old are you? Depending on your age and what country you live in, your mother can't force you to have an abortion, just like she can't force you to not have one.

People on this forum can help you with resources whatever your choice is. The important thing for you to know is that this is your body, your uterus so it is your choice, not your parents'. I only hope you are in a country that recognizes that right.

Best.

LIFE IS ROUGH.. I wrote you a message on this forum.

I live in charlotte NC, pm me if you like!

In atlanta you can have an aboriton to 24-26 weeks.

Here in NC you can have an abortion until 20 weeks.

It costs about 600-700 dollars. You pay 75$ or so extra for 'iv sedation to help make the procedure less painful.

Down in florida, they have low cost procedures at 22-24 weeks, cheaper than atlanta.

PM me and we can talk more.

No, it is not partial birth abortion.

You would have a suction abortion.

Clinics here IN nc go up to 20 weeks.

So you need to do this quickly, or you may have to go out of town.

First of all if you are not 100% sure that you want an abortion DO NOT get one. Your mother cannot make you have an abortion.
