Q: Skipping Placebos On Alesse

just wondering if any girls out there on alesse have tried skipping their period?
im going on a vacation and do not want my period so i would like to skip the placebo week and go straight into my new pack....but i have been reading that some brands of birth control it doesnt really matter because you can get your period that week anyways.
..Last month i got my period 5 days before i was on the placebo week..so im wondering..just an opinion do you think i would be able to skip my period?

I was on that birth control when I got married. I was scheduled to have my placebo week on our honeymoon. I skipped them and had no problem with my period. However, it may not work that well for you, it will effect everyone differently. You may have some breakthrough bleeding. But, I hope it goes well for you. Have a good vacation!
