My name is Natalie, I'm 19 years old and
found out I was pregnant today. I has
been 40 days since my last period (my
cycle is usually 30-35 days) I have done
two tests both very strong positives.
I didnt think I would be pregnant as my
stomach has been really crampy today and I
have back pain. I do have really sore
boobs, which I dont normally get and I'm
peeing all the time.
I'm quite nervous, I think that makes me 5
weeks 5 days due on 21/02/07, I've not
taken any folic acid yet and came back
from holiday 2 weeks ago where I drank
alcohol. I hope everything will be ok.
So I'm looking forward to getting to know
people over the next 34 weeks.

Dont worry to much about the drinking
alcohol, lots of people mistaken do it
before they find out! Just stop now and
get some folic acid!!

not to worry about the alcohol thing too
much i did the same and i have a healthy
little one, it's something that a lot of
people do but aslong as you look after
yourself from now on you'll be just fine

Hey welcome to the forum. I'm also 16 and
expecting my little girl on the 18th
September. Yea don't worry about alcohol I
conceived over christmas and new year,
needless to say I drank a lot over those
two occasions before I found out I was
pregnant.

Hi, I was at the Doctors this morning.
Booked my first pre-natal appointment for
1 week today. Found out I have mumps, my
Doctor is worried as I have a slight fever
and this can increase risk of miscarriage.
I'm just paranoid about keeping my
temperature down now.

Welcome. I am 10 weeks tomorrow and had
my prenatal visit last week. Don't worry
and just take good care of yourself now.
If you can take 2mg (2000 mcg) folic acid
daily. That is crucial for the first
10-12 weeks of pregnancy.
