We just got back from our camping trip. We took 300 pictures, so I'll put some up when I have time this week. Ava had fun, but hated the heat. She swam alot and had her first real encounter with real food. She had some macaroni, pancakes, white beans, and lots of ice. She loves ice! And get this: Saturday night my mom came tell her goodnight. She said, "Goodnight Ava, I love you." and I swear on her life, Ava said "I love you." It was clear as day! I got the goosebumps and freaked out. We both looked at each other and said, "What?! Did you hear that???". We tried again and she eventually said it one more time. She hasn't said it since. It's not the first time she's said something that sounds like a word or a short sentence. She also started saying momma/mom/mommy this weekend. It's mostly when she's crying or tired. She does it looking at me with her arms up, so I know she makes the connection and it's not just a sound.
You'll get the hint of how the trip went when I post pics. It'll take too long to explain all that we did.
Did I miss anything?
