Sharp headache over eyes and forehead Posted: 06-25-07 06:47am
iv suffered with headaches for about 5
years, on some weeks i can get a headache
everyday. unless i take a pain killer as
soon as i feel it coming on it usually
last all day.
i usually get them over my eyes and
forhead, my eyes can become quite
painfull, i also get sharp pains on the
right side of my head around my ear level
with my temple. i went to the doctors a
few years ago about it but they blamed it
on the pill changed it and it make no
difference, they diddnt seem very bothered
so i ignored it, and havent really taken
much noticed of it.
is it something to worry about or am i
just being paranoid?
Headaches can be present for many reasons,
many of which are unknown. First, you can
request medical examinations to exclude
eye disorders, teeth disorder, sinus
infection, cervical spondilosis, high
blood pressure etc. as possible reasons
for headache (they are very common
causes). One of the most common reasons
for headache is anxiety and mental
fatigue. There are some less common reasons
for headache like brain tumors or
infections. Some types of headaches like
migraine or cluster-headache have unknown
reason. You can request analgesics or
painkillers for temporary treatment of the
symptoms, but you can also request several
medical examinations to exclude the
possible reasons mentioned above. You can
follow up with your GP to request the
diagnostic examinations.
