okay so here goes it one more time about my fiance's ex wife and all so wednesday we had two cops show up at our apartment with a restraining order for my fiance not to be allowed to see his daughter. Anyways I am stuck in a situation and I am so stressed because it says he was abusing his daughter which would never happen because I am always home! and also I am having a baby for goodness sake! So now they are looking into that and I am so afraid that they will take my baby away because of some woman trying to ruin my life! ugggh I cant stand her because she lied to the cop and said he was abusive and that he burnt his daughter sorry for the rant I am just so upset right now I feel like beating her up.... but that is not how I am because I am not at her level. I am better than that and thats all I have to say. Has anyone else been through something like this before?

I have not been through such a thing, and .I'm really sorry that you are. If your fiance didn't hurt his daughter they will find out one day and the ex wife will be in trouble for lying. It really doesn't change today though.
I know where .I live you will be urged to leave him and not allow him to be around your child unless he's supervised. If you choose to stay with him they may very well take your baby, because in the laws eyes you are putting your child at risk for abuse.
If he's found to be innocent you will be all set and more than likely you will end up with your step child too.
Good luck

Thanks mommy35 I am just so afraid at court on wednesday she will make up another big story and make him loose everything he works all the time and everything like that so how can he be like that if hes never home during the week Evil or Very Mad she makes me so heated. She came into my place of employment and told another associate that he was a loser and unfit when everyone there knows my fiance and said that all this stuff she has said and done is b...s... and they know how he is to his daughter and I and we have gotten her everything she has wanted for her birthday and everything else so its like proof right there he cares way to much

Unfortunately there are a lot of women out there that make up lies about their children's fathers. I guess they think it makes themselves look good, and .I'm sure they get attention for it too. It takes someone with really low class to do that. I hope all goes well for you guys.

he can make up all the lies she wants but in the end she needs proof. if she does not have it then they will drop the charges.. he says she says isnt enough to press charges. it sounds like it is a temporary restraining order.. if what she says is untrue then it will come out in the open. dont stress too much..or try not to.
