Sexual Health - Men Answer A3016
About half of all men who experience bilateral undescended testis have a sperm count below 12 million sperm per ml. The normal range of sperm count is 12 to 20 million sperm per ml. The number of sperm is reduced by 25-30 % during a unilateral testicle situation. The paternity rates for those with one testis (secondary to criptorhidism) is about 60-80 %.You haven't mentioned whether this condition is congenital or the result of a necessary surgical removal. Regardless, there is some risk of reduced fertility present.
