Hole above ear fills with pus : Fistula ? Posted: 06-23-07 19:43pm
My child has a small (extra) hole above
each of her ears. My doctor nce told me
the name of this condition she was born
with, but I forgot. Do you know what this
is called? Pus will sometime gather in
the hole and I will gently squeeze it to
clear the hole

An abnormal hole filled with pus could be
the outer opening of a fistula. I believe
that your child’s doctor would have
written the diagnosis in the medical
documentation. You can check in the
medical documentation to get clear about
what might be causing the condition.
