Hole above ear fills with pus : Fistula ? Posted: 06-23-07 19:43pm


My child has a small (extra) hole above each of her ears. My doctor nce told me the name of this condition she was born with, but I forgot. Do you know what this is called? Pus will sometime gather in the hole and I will gently squeeze it to clear the hole

An abnormal hole filled with pus could be the outer opening of a fistula. I believe that your child’s doctor would have written the diagnosis in the medical documentation.
