Hello all,

this is my anxiety talking...My boyfriend and I have always agreed that we would never have sex until marriage. However, during an isolated incident, we had genital to genital contact and it's possible that some of his ejaculatory fluid made contact with my vulva.

I had been (and still have been) regularly taking birth control pills, at the same time each day, and had not missed any pills. I have had two normal periods since then, but the third was considerably lighter than usual. I attributed it to stress. I've been dealing with several bouts of nausea on and off as well, which is really what got me worried about the possibility of still being pregnant.

I took a pregnancy test in what would have been my 10th week...Negative.
Another negative test in my 12th week.

I know anyone else would have considered the matter done and over with, but i'm still just slightly anxious about it. Any freakish, oddball chance of being pregnant that late and still not having hcg high enough to show up on a home pregnancy test, even though it peaks in weeks 10-12?

Thanks for your help...Hoping this is all just my imagination running away with me.

This is definetly your imagination running wild. Your pregnancy test should be accurate by now, and you aren't pregnate. If you get your period, that means you are okay! As long as you take your birth control everyday at the same time you will okay.

Kudos for you about saving it for marriage.
I wish that I could do the same Confused

Thanks so much...I think I really just needed to hear it from someone else that I wasn't. The random nausea was freaking me out, as I never get sick, but I think I really just psyched myself out this time. Incredible what the human mind can do...ugh.
