Well as of tomorrow I will be in a different environment and I will not carry cigs or a lighter with me. The first day will be difficult but I'm not giving myself a choice. I'll let you know how it goes.

Here are some links that may help you.

well the links didn't work. So my suggestion would be go to WhyQuit.com and read there.

Good luck,

Eric

Well heres an update over the past two days i've only had about 4 or 5 cigarettes total compared to maybe 45. I've noticed that the only real withdrawal symptom I'm getting with going most of the day without a smoke is the dizziness, I plan on going all day tomorrow without one, if I can do that then I know I can stop for good.

well i went all of thursday without smoking a single cigarette. i was suprised that i really didnt feel much of a craving or any withdrawals. however i think it was so easy because i simply couldnt get a cig even if i wanted to. unfortunately i gave in the next day and i had a couple smokes. i know i can quit now i just have to set a date.

I have decided that I am going to try to get a prescription anxiety medicine before trying again. I have very bad anxiety which I feel is causing quitting to be much harder then it should be.

im 17 and have only been smoking for around 2 years. it seems as though i smoke more when with certain people and when im at certain places. in about 2 weeks im driving from DC to dallas, i know i wont make the trip without a smoke, so it seems pointless for me to try to quit right before making that drive
