About to Change My Mind!

.i think if he's giving you such a run around I'd go elsewhere. Maybe he's scamming you? But you are the customer to him, and he should be doing everything he can to please you!!! I would definately go elsewhere. Were you specifically looking for a lab, or was this guy the first one you came across? I have a bad habit of impulse buying (.i.e, .daisy) and I don't regret it, but I would shop around a bit and see. Maybe you can even get a cheaper one, and then you could spend more on puppy toys! I love puppy shopping

at first we were thinking german shepard, then labs are more family oriented dogs and i fell in love with the chocolate labs. there is another person that might have a chocolate lab, im waiting to see if this guy calls me back ive called him prob 10 times and the last time it was al of a sudden busy. so i dunno im gonna ask if i do get a hold of him if he plans on dropping it off anytime soon, and if he doesnt know then i will tell him to forget it, it just irritates me since i got the money and all the puppy supplies already here. And the fact he said he would call this afternoon after lunchtime and now its 15 minutes until 6pm. If i have to i will call the paper and tell them to remove his name and number from the paper since he isnt someone i would want anyone giving business too since he is a poor business person. its not worth the effort or time.

Yeah, I would check out the other person while waiting for this guy to call you back. Or sometimes they have little ads on bulletin boards at grocery stores and such. But this guy doesn't deserve your money.

he called back finally, he seemed very mad but he said he was gonna call in the afternoon. He said maybe monday or tuesday, because he says its a far drive and his wife didnt feel like driving here and he would be too tired to do it alone. Im looking into other places but they seem to want more for the chocolate lab then the price he has told us. its just seriously getting on my nerves. he said he was in stockholm(sp) and i tried looking it up on mapquest but i cant find it .

Hmmm, they are too tired to make a sale? sounds like a poor excuse. I'd be very mad if I were you too.

Hmm, it doesnt really sound like they want to sell the puppy to you. I hate getting the run around from people, but if he really wanted to sell the puppy he would have contacted you sooner. He says Monday or Tuesday, but what happens when that comes around.....I agree he doesnt deserve your money, even though you really want the puppy and he has the best price it shouldnt be this difficult. I would be irritated too. See what happens on Monday if you havent found someone else already.

yeah i realize he is quite far away , he never said where he was located till earlier. so i take that into consideration, im gonna email him to verify the prices he told me over the phone and see what happens on monday or tuesday. There is another one i contacted to find out prices and delivery costs as well. So we will see what happens.

yeah so i dunno it seems odd the price he told me wich is why im verifying, cuz i found a stockholm, in sweden! thats a 14 hr drive and he said it was 500 euro for the dog and 50 euro to deliver it wich thinking for how far he is 50 euros doesnt seem like much to deliver it . I just hope he emails back so far the only email i have received from him is the picture of the puppy. But he also told me the first few times i spoke with him that he could deliver to our home since we dont live on the military base we live offbase near it.

well he emailed right away wow what a suprise. But the price is correct so maybe i should be patient, because if it were me i wouldnt look forward to that drive either. But the other person was wanting near 1,000 american dollars for a black lab cuz thats all he had left and that aint happening lol. this is near 700. i have 550 euro for it in my purse. The drive is almsot the same as me driving from nc to fla wich ive done a few times and i hated doing it alone.

I guess now that we know its a long drive, we can cut him a lil slack, lol. It seems like a good price for delivery for that amount of driving. I just hope it all works out next week

ya i really hope so, im already sorta attached after seeing the picture, if i known he was so far away i woulda been alot nicer and not bugged him calling so much lol. i was thinking he was like 2 hrs or so away. So i will be patient but i was hoping to have it before jason got home from the field he gets home sometime next week im not sure maybe wednesday.

i really hope so. all of yall need to pray for me that i get my puppy on monday or tuesday!!! I hate waiting for things. I got upset earlier over it lmao but i seriously think my lexapro isnt working correctly so im talkin to my dr on thursday when i see her

I will pray for you to get your puppy. I have never had a dog before and I hope someday I can have one, I really want one. I don't like waiting for things either...then again some things are worth the wait. Hopefully the puppy will be exactly what you expect.

It sucks that you got your hopes up and this guy hasn't followed through with it.
Is there any way that you could meet him 1/2 way?
