Could be a hernia, or appendicitis (which can be serious !). You should call your doctor.

Could be all of the above, or kindey stones, irritable bowel syndrome, gall bladder or something of the sort. If it has not gone away you should definately go to your doctor to make sure it is not serious.

I agree with 2bluechic, it sounds like a hernia or appendicitis. I would get to the doctor as soon as possible to rule out appendicitis. If it was ibs, it wouldn't just be your right side. Your gall bladder is closer to your stomach and not on your right side so I don't think it would be any of those things. I would definitely get it checked out.

Well I have had ibs for over four years now, and when it acts up, I have pain on my lower right side! Ibs is different with everyone, so no one can say what everyones symptoms would be. As for the gall bladder, it can make your whole stomach hurt, down to your lower stomach, so like I said, it could be any of the above.
