Q: Left testicle irregularity & epididymis
asked by: DoctorQuestion on June 22nd, 2007
Well i can feel a small sort of oval type thing on my left testicle at the top where the vein/tube connects to it sort of to the side of the tube i think it's ment to be there, in fact im 99.99% positive it is ment to be there, but it's not on my right one as far as i can feel... Help..?

My left one is smaller and not as far down as my right.

Well this is getting me really scared and making me feel horrible and im worrying like mad.

It feels as if its beside the Epididymis but it could be part of it..

If you look at this:

Does this "small sort of oval type" produce any pain or discomfort?

According to your description, you might be noticing the epididymis, which can often be inflamed, but you require a physical examination to confirm this. The appendix of the testis doesn't have clinical significance. And it's normal to experience asymmetry between the testicles. Most men have testicles of different size and placement. Nonetheless, you may consult urologist for advice and consultation.
