Q: Plantar Wart Treatment ?

Hello, I am a sixteen year old female and I have some plantar warts on both my feet. I noticed them not too long ago and I booked an appointment at a nearby clinic because my family doctor closed his practice. I had read up about them beforehand, so I had expected some instructions and for her to trim them and apply some sort of dressing. I know there are other treatments as well, but I was surprised when we had to use Liquid Nitrogen. I was told it would be very painful, and I was okay with that because I was almost positive she would use anesthetic.

She didn't, I don't know if that is common. After that I simply hobbled out of the room and left. I am finding it very painful, it's been a few hours and I was told I would need to come in weekly to get this done. I am wondering if there is any other treatment for me, as I missed an entire shift today because it's so painful. I haven't tried any of the over the counter products, but I am still okay with enduring the pain if this is the best way to get rid of them. Surprised

Hey
they always use liquid nitrogen first. then if that doesnt work they cut it out. you can get over the counter wart removers but it takes time to get rid of them. patience is key. sometimes they just go away by themselves. I oftern pulled the roots out of mine and they went away.
