Hello, I am a sixteen year old female and I have some plantar warts on both my feet. I noticed them not too long ago and I booked an appointment at a nearby clinic because my family doctor closed his practice. I had read up about them beforehand, so I had expected some instructions and for her to trim them and apply some sort of dressing. I know there are other treatments as well, but I was surprised when we had to use Liquid Nitrogen. I was told it would be very painful, and I was okay with that because I was almost positive she would use anesthetic.

She didn't, I don't know if that is common. After that I simply hobbled out of the room and left. I am finding it very painful, it's been a few hours and I was told I would need to come in weekly to get this done. I am wondering if there is any other treatment for me, as I missed an entire shift today because it's so painful. I haven't tried any of the over the counter products, but I am still okay with enduring the pain if this is the best way to get rid of them.
