Q: Masterbation & Erection Potency

There is something that has been worrying me since past 1 year. I used to masterbate about twice a day at the max (now once a day). But with masterbation I dont get full erection (I know what my full erection is ... I reached if few times) & cant maintain the erection unless I keep pumping it.

If I dont masterbate for a month or so (which I have done many times) I get a full erection & it does not require pumping to maintain it.

My question is that is it normal with masterbation on regular basis (daily) that one does not get full & maintainable erection or is it just me? Would i be able to get full erection with the stimulation from a partner (new touch/sensation)?

Most men (and women) masturbate to relive stress and get a nice orgasm. If you are turned on by someone else, trust me, your penis will more than likely get as hard as you need it! Masturbation and actual sex are very different, and your body knows this. Your body is kind of like "ah, meh, it's just my owner." When a sexy lady enters your life, it's going to go "Whoah! Sexy lady, alright!"

hmm ... I have tried it while watching porn. Lot of sexy ladies there (but the hand remains mine).

Plus I dont usually get erection while thinking about something sexy/sexual all the time. When I stop masterbating for a week or 2, I start getting erection when I think of something. I do get erection when I am not paying attention to my penis (meaning not giving it deliberate erection) but paying attention to porn, sexy lady & when my mind drifts of to sexual thoughts on its own (it happens).

I just wana knw if I am putting too much stress on my penis & my brain.

& above all ... is this thing NORMAL? There is nothing to worry about is there?

Above all, I do think it is normal, and I do think that of course waiting two weeks is going to make you really horny. But you're not stressing your body or mind with daily masturbation.

Well thats a lil relief ... but I have few more questions left:

1. Will it be different when I have a sex with partner (girl)? I mean would I get erection cause of a new touch/sensation?

2. Should I cut down on masterbation from once or twice a day to few times a week?

The worse thing is I am loosing my confidence & I have to regain it. I am not that old, just 25.

Like I already told you, yes, it will be totally different when you are with a real girl. The frequency of masturbation is up to you.

If you prefer to masturbate twice a day and don't mind that you are softer, then do it. You won't be soft during sex. If you like to wait until you're horny and have it hard for masturbation, then do that. It won't make a difference to sex.

hi. i av never had a full erection, but am getting it treated. i used to when i was 14 masterbate about 3 or 4 times a day. then from 16 i started to 2 or 3 times a day. now i av done it 1 to 3 times a day, and i usually do it for the hell of it, out of boredom. note, i av never had an erection, i usally tense my penis,,and my dr said my right testicle is extremely, i mean extremely small, and underdevelope that it may not be producing sperm. i used to orgasm and explode. but for like the past 2 yrs i just dribble!!! is this because I LACK A PROPER ERECTION???????????? i am getting pills next week that the dr said for me to try.

also, i cannot orgasm much, i like tried once, and i cummed 3 times in 1 hr, but that was hard work! but also, note i did it whilst not having a FULL PROPER ERECTION. well i av never had one!! but nxt week, if the pills work, and also help me physically as well as mentally (dr said i cld release a lot of mental stress too,,and may not av to rely on them as much, but there is a physical problem as i av never had an erection, even in the mornings!!!!), and i get an erection! WILL I BE ABLE TO ORGASM MORE EXPLOSIVLY?? AND MORE OFTEN??????

pleasE??? Sad
