With so many diets and programs you would think there would be lots of skinny people and not so many of us over weight. I am thinking most plans are designed to keep us overweight. I have tried so many in the past that failed. I have to say I am luck that a friend of mine recommended just stop eating so much plan. His story was so inspirational that I felt if this person could do it, then I could. So far I have lost 45 lbs and have only been following this program for a little over 3 months. It has become a lifestyle not much different than I had, though I am losing the weight and feeling great. I would highly recommend it!

Some days I feel like a complete fool for not writing a book filled with common sense notions and marketing it for myself. I could make millions with such titles as :

-Don't shake the baby-a comon sense guide to parenting
-Drive the speedlimit and wear a seat belt-How to survive most traffic accidents
-Use soap and water-How to maintain personal hygeine in today's busy world
-Don't sleep with your boss-100 helpful tips on maintaining workplace professionalism
-Run for your life-Common sense exercise to lose weight

Why do we keep looking at book after book of weight loss and diet plans when all we really have to do is use common sense?

I'm sorry, I must be grouchy today. Could be that I've been crying all morning. Confused

The easiest way to lose weight-more importantly be healthy-is to be treat your body how it was meant to be treated. It's simple. Replace your inactive activities with active activities. Instead of laying on the couch watching t.v. you could do pilates and still watch t.v. Play sports. Join a gym with a pool so you can swim laps. Walk to the park with your kids. Also take a look at what your eating. Is you cart at the groccery store full of proccessed food? It should be full of fresh fruits and veggies, not canned veggies and fruit snacks.
