Q: Why do I spot blood during bowel movement / BM ?

i just recently delivered a baby (April 13, 2007), and i was wondering why i spot during a BM?

Rectal bleeding is the most common sign of internal hemorrhoids. Other causes of bleeding during bowel movements might be: anal fissures, colon polyps, inflammatory bowel disease. You can consult your primary health care doctor for advice and diagnostic examinations to determine the cause of bleeding during bowel movements.
