Hello, I was wondering if anyone has had
this experience with Kariva. I am 32 years
old with 2 kids. After each child I was
put on Kariva. I have never had periods
while I have been on this pill. I have
been taking this for 5 years now since my
last child and no periods. I am currently
on the last week in the pill pack, this is
when you are supposed to have a period.
Well, I am having a period now and think
that this is very weird since I have not
had any in so long. I have a headache and
cramping also. Does anyone know why this
would happen??

I started using Kariva when I was 19 and
have been using it for 10 years non-stop
and I either had no period or very-very
light periods. All of a sudden, the last
two months I go through the pill pack and
dont get my period until the middle of the
next month's pill pack. It wouldn't be so
bad but I been having an extremly heavy
flow and bad bloating. I talked to my
doctor and we will be discussing other
birth controls since kariva is not working
for me now.
