Well I am on josh's 3rd load of laundry! Lol....Only 2 or 3 more loads to go! (i swear this boy has more laundry than I do lol) I still gotta wash all his blankets (all 23 of them) lol and the rest of his clothes. I am enjoying this. It just reminds me how much closer the time is for him to be here! Oh gosh i'm so excited! Oh by the way.....I found a baby detergent cheaper than dreft.....It's all. It is a white bottle with a pink cap that says all baby care plus. It has a bit of a fresh smell to it and it seems to be doing a nice job so far. It is much much cheaper....Just thought I would let yall know. Also, are you supposed to use fabric softener? I haven't been because of the perfumes and stuff in it....I wouldn't want him to break out or anything so I didn't use it. But I was just wondering if you can? And if so what kinds do you all use?

Hmmmmm.......Didn't figure I could. And jordan dryer sheets are fabric softener! Lol.....We don't usually use liquid....Too much hassle to remember to put it in during the rinse cycle and then put it in rinse again after that. Lol. Ok. No fabric softener. I can do that. But oh man I am not looking forward to fold and hanging all these clothes back up! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Lol

Youll be suprised, when sean was little I changed him 3 times a day!! Twice into day clothes, once into night clothes!! And about the dreft, I only bought one large bottle with sean, and at 10 months, I still have it!! At around 5 months I started using tide laundry soap and downy fabric softener...He never broke out, but that is just sean!!

Because it gets rid of stuff they might have collected in the store that may irritate baby's skin. He will be here in about 19 days so I needed to do all his stuff! You r supposed to do clothes, blankets, bibs, wash cloths, towels, sheets, everything! And you need to use a detergent especially for babies.

I only bought one bottle of dreft. Don't use fabric softner. But I started using regular liquid laundry detergent for jaydens clothes at like 5 months. And I also started using fabric softner then also. Omg what are you going to do w/so many blankets?! Sheesh jayden had like 15 and half of em still have the tags on them! I didn't always wash all of jaydens clothes if they were brand new. 98% of them I did though.

I would imagin it is more cozy to the babies skin too, rather than stiff new clothing.
