well, im on week 17 of my pregnancy, my baby hasent gotten any biger to the point of showing, both my sister and boyfriend are very anxious to know when im gonna start getting biger and when we can tell the sex.

now I'm going to the doctors next week on Tuesday, so i wanted to know what all there gonna be doing? i've had 2 ultrasounds already and have cute little pictures ^_^ but my mother said this next visit ill be able to get tests to see what sex the baby's going to be, and there going to do a lot of tests for any hereditary diseases, and then theres the ultrasound to check the anatomy of the baby.

i just wanna know what all the doctor has to do to me in the appointment and if i should have my boyfriend in the room with me?
i also wanted to know if the test for the baby's sex is by blood or if its by the fluids from me and the baby?
and finally for my sisters sake, when will i start to show?

Especially eHealthy
well you might not show at all until 6 months or so
i barely started getting a tiny tummy and my belly button is poched out
but...they should be able to tell if its boy or girl or not? usually its between 16-22 weeks that they can tell and they do it by ultrasound
im 16 weeks and im going monay to see if its boy or girl
but im doing mine by a 3D ultrasound...you should ask for one. they are $99 but theyre worth it
have your bf in the room
they might do a little bloodwork but its not likely
