I know I've only been gone 5 days but woooah this forum is usually my life and I've missed all my girlies! Sad

Well, I'm still in .London.. but I'm having an awful time. I got here at 3am friday morning & .Jonny had to work later that day so I was alone all day & it sucked. Then of course my glands swelled up in my throat again. It went from bad to worse, & this is the worst it's been. I haven't had any sleep & it's been horrible.

I had a throat swab done last wednesday & the results came back today.. clear! Absolutely nothing there. Well, they did do the swab when my throat was better instead of doing it when it was bothering me.. Rolling Eyes

The pain is getting unbearable, I can hardly breathe at night.. & swallowing is agony. I'm really sick with it this time too, I can't keep any food down. I saw the doctor again today, & as soon as he looked at my throat he knew what it was.. a peritonsillar abscess. Caused by tonsillitis that wasn't treated properly. If the doctors had prescribed me penicillin when I asked them to this might not have happened.. & now if it's too advanced for antibiotics to treat, I'll have to have the abscess drained surgically. Ugh Sad

Sorry this turned out so long, I just feel so ill.. it's really hard finding the energy to take care of .Jenny when I haven't eaten & I'm in so much pain. Anyone fancy babysitting?

I'm so sorry!! Seriously, doctors just baffle me sometimes. When will they drain it?

I would love to watch .jenny for you. But, I think the comute might be a little much. By the time I got there you would probably be feeling better.

I hope you are feeling better soon!

I know how you feel being sick and having to look after a child. We're all sick right now, me, Ava, and my husband. My mom's staying away b/c she has to have surgery next week so she can't catch anything from us. You sound worse off than me though. I hope you get better soon!

Zanny I had the same thing you have and I know how much it hurts and you get so sick, I am sorry to hear that I hope you get better and that it goes down so you dont have to have surgery. I was kinda lucky because mine burst and you dont want that to happen either that can mess up your fertility. anyways I hope everything goes okay
