Well everybody is different I know with me it takes at least 7 weeks for a hpt to come up positive for me, I took about 3 tests and took two tests at the doctors office all negative and then about two weeks later I took another hpt and it was positive. When are you suppose to start your period??

Well.....
Well I would say give it about another week and then go to th edoctor and take a test if the urine tet comes out negative I would ask for a blood test they are better. Good luck i'm suppose to be having my period this week also but I am going to wait until next week so I don't get my hopes up.

Well since you took an opk you know that you o'd aprox 2 days after that... And it takes about 7-10 days for a baby to implant in your uterus...And your hcg levels double every 24 -48 hours and they need to be at at least 50 hcg to be dected by a hpt... So like the test boxes say the time to take a hpt is 12- 14 days past when you ovulate or when your period is due. I was very lucky since I chart and with both of my pg (m/c and viable pg) I tested on 9 dpo and got faint positives. Is your hypothroidism under control. If it isn't you will probably loose the baby or the baby will have sever mental disablities. I too have hypothroidism.
