So,
I hit a curb on my bicycle, and I think I landed in my thoracic region because there is a pain up there, and then down the left side of my spinal muscle into my Lumbar and hip area, which is also numb to the touch and feels a little swollen. Most movement is okay, just a little soreness, but when I bend to the right side, as in reaching for my right ankle with my right hand and coming over my head with my left hand, there is a shocking type pain that feels like nerve problems. I'm curious, how long with this take to go away, will it ever, how long should I wait to see a doctor, any advice at all, etc. Thanks for the help!

You need to go to a doctor (chiropractor)so that he can evaluate what kind of injury do you have and treat you. They are really good. They will do x-rays and find exactly what you have.
