Loestrin 21 Fe

Hi there,

I had my yearly physical today and recieved a new kind of birth control pill for myself, Loestrin 21 FE 1.5/30. I have been on Ortho tri cyclen lo for the past year however still had pretty heavy periods lasting the full 6, 7 days. So my doctor prescribed Loestrin with iron.

I do still have one more month of ortho lo though.

I haven't found a whole lot about it just now looking it up online.

Does anyone have any helpful info on this pill. How does it differ from ortho tri cyclen lo and is it still as effective protecting against pregnancy when taken correctly?
