My youngest is even months old I went on (BC) to control bleeding i was going though after my c-section when she was 3 months old......so on to my question !

After four months of being on (BC) i am having my first issue with breakthough bleeding it started friday of my second week into a pack of pills according to my calculation I "O'd" on the 8th is there a chance this could be implantation bleeding? i am really afraid of that me and hubby do want more kids just not so soon after a c-section that was my first.

can anyone help ??? thanx so much for your time

If you've been taking the pills correctly then it's impossible that you are ovulating. Break through bleeding is common of birth control, even months after you've started.

If you really don't want any more children, why not consider getting your tubes tied? My mother did, and it worked fine for her. It won't help with the bleeding, but it would at least assure you of having no more kiddies.

Hm, well, if that's your history then I'd certainly take a test if you miss your period. Perhaps a better form of temporary birth control for you would be an iud. They are usually more effective than the pill, and are easily removed when you're ready to conceive again Smile

You do not ovulate on the pill.

IF you are overweight, or you take certain herbal supplements, Rx meds, or you miss pills, it will increase your chance for ovulation.
