Hey, I'm new on this website, a year and a
half ago i had a miscariage with my
boyfriend. It was a complete accident, and
when i told him ( i was obviously away on
vacation with my bestfriend haha ) We
talked about adoption, abortion, or having
it. But i decided i could never get an
abortion, so we decided to keep it. And
then 2 weeks later i had a miscariage.
From them on i had been on birth control
on and off, but now im off because it made
me really sick. I'm still with my
boyfriend and its our 4 year anniversary
on Thursday! Anyways, we dont use
protection anymore and i havent got
pregnant yet, and its breaking my heart...
Do you think im infertile?

How long have you been off birth control?
It can take some time to get pregnant
after you have been off birth control
because your hormones are adjusting. It
can take a normal, fertile couple up to a
year to get pregnant. There are some
signs though that indicate some one may
have some fertility problems such as
irregular or absent periods. If you have
been trying for only a few months and are
having normal periods I would give it some

Well, ive been off birth control strictly
since February. When i went on it, it was
also because my periods went from 3-4 days
to a week or a little more. Ive never been
good about taking my birth control pills.
The week + periods started in December.
Anyways, we havent been trying... we have
kinda just been having sex for fun and if
it happens it happens.... I mean could
that be why... Anyways, thank you for your
advice.
