I had sex ( for the first time) on february 7. It was a big mistake ( that I have learned a lot from)...The condom broke..To make a long story short, I took emergency contraception, so i'm not pregnant. On the 19th of feb., I got examined and the test results just came back as normal. I have a question though...How long does it take to be able to detect a virus such as hpv in a pap smear? Did I get examined too soon to be able to tell if I have a virus?? Thanks for the comments!
