Officially Leaving Town On...

Monday!

I'm so excited. I've been looking forward to this for a couple of months now. I'm kind of sad too though, because .Aaron has to work. He'll be able to visit on his days off (we're only about two hours away), but I really hate being away from him. I might give in and come home after a few days.

Oh, and we're taking .Alyvia in for a weigh-in tomorrow. I want to get an idea of how much (if any) she's gained since her last appointment.

Oh, whoops! I thought everyone knew. Embarassed .I'm going to the lake with my mother in law. She has a camp out there. It's really peaceful down by the water - no computers, no internet, no cable tv. No distractions, really. It's just so nice and quiet there, super relaxing, and it'll just be her, me and the baby.

I'm not sure how long .I'll be there - a week minimum, but I hope I can convince myself to stay longer. I need to get out of this house. I'm having a hard time dealing with depression right now, and keeping myself cooped up indoors isn't helping. My husband's mom is a really uplifting positive person, and it's really a joy spending time with her. And she loves spending time with .Alyvia, so it's win-win all around.

The only bad part is leaving .Aaron and my kitty behind Sad he can visit on his days off (it's only 2 hours from our house), but we're not used to being away from each other, so that's going to be the main thing adding to my homesickness. Plus he isn't used to feeding my cat, so .I'm mega paranoid about that. I'll probably call every evening just to make sure he's remembering to take care of her. Laughing

we missed .Alyvia's weigh-in Evil or

Very Mad .I'm so mad! I couldn't get .Aaron out of bed before noon because he'd stayed up the previous night, and then his mom came over for an hour or so, so we didn't even get ready until after 1. We had to run around and do some errands, and by the time we went by the office they told us we needed an appointment unless we went to the main office, which was clear across town! What the heck! We just wanted to put her on the scale! We were so aggravated that we decided to forget about it. Rolling Eyes Evil or

That sounds fun. We're leaving on Friday to go camping in Covington for 4 days. I can't wait. Ava loves the outdoors and it'll be nice to have some extra help with her for a few days.
