Q: Gerber Stage 2 And 3 Foods, Anyone?

Hey guys! Alyvia is finally taking her jarred foods and eating them in (mostly) one sitting. I'm just curious what your baby's favorite flavors are and least liked flavors too. We've only tried the fruits and veggies in .gerber stage 2, and we haven't tried stage 3 yet, but this is what she's had:

veggies:

sweet potatoes & corn (loves!)
garden veggies (carrots and peas, basically) (gags and refuses)

fruits:
apples strawberries & bananas (likes)
apples and cherries (likes)
banana apple dessert (loooooves) <- I don't think this is really a fruit, though...

she's also had the stage 2 mac & cheese, but it looks and smells like vomit and she didn't seem to care for it.

So if you have any suggestions for fruits, veggies, meats, etc that your baby likes (in the jarred foods, I mean) please share!

Did you try any of the containers of the mixed fruits like pear strawberry granola with the DHA and ARA in it. That's Ava's favorite. She also likes the jarred chicken and apples, turkey rice dinner, chicken noodle dinner. She doesn't like any of the mixed fruits that has oranges or bananas in it and she hates beef and ham!

finn loves everything i've ever given him except green beans.

for stage 2 foods, he likes all the vegetables but his favorites are mixed vegetables (i think it's corn, potatoes, and something else) and sweet potatoes and corn.

i mix his fruits with oatmeal, he's like everything i've bought but i haven't bought too many. bananas make it hard for him to poop so i stay away from them and a lot of the fruit mixtures have bananas, though i have given him the apple/strawberry/banana and the banana/mixed berries and he likes them. he loves the apple/blueberry and the prune/apple (yuck!).

i give him the stage 3 dinners and he *loves* the chicken/noodle! he's only tried beef once and he hated it and wouldn't eat it. i'm not going to be giving him baby food much longer though, he *loves* any table food i give him and he's been eating dinner with us lately.

jamie, why do you mix everything together? just wondering...

Chu loved chicken and apples, pears and chicken, guava dessert, chicken and rice, all of the fruits and all of the veggies except green beans and green peas.

Thanks for the replies, ladies! Aaron picked up a few stage 2 dinner jars, so we're going to try one of those later on.

Bridget: .Alyvia is the exact opposite... bananas make her butt explode! Shocked but she's a huge fan of sweet potatoes and corn! We pulled all of her stage 1 foods out of the cabinet (she's been refusing them for a few months) and she ate everything but the peaches. I actually held the prunes back because I was afraid they'd give her diarrhea, and then gave her a jar of it when she was constipated the other day. Four solid poos that day! God bless prunes! Shocked

she loves sweet potatoes and tolerates carrots. I really don't think she likes peas. She loves bananans and apples, and seems to like strawberries and cherries.

I think we're trying beef vegetable tonight! I really hope she likes it.

I always keep prunes on hand for when Ava is constipated or has a hard poo, it's guaranteed to make her go.

Oni never refused any of the foods. Well, green beans at first, but just because they were massivly thick, and it gagged her.

BUt she looooved everything!! I always gave her veggies first, then dessers. I never mixed em.

Sounds like she's doin good though!!!!! Keep it up .aly!!!

Oni *lerves* jello!!
