Calling All Sleepwalkers

I'm tired, Evil or Very Mad
tired all the time from damn sleep walking, im a 23 year old male and have sleep walked all of my life, in my teens this developed into more active / agressive sleepwalking where I would act out my dreams or act on a fear or thought ie I was being attacked. I have broken items punched walls/doors, flipped beds, shouted, sworn and screamed but many just angry. On the flip side I can laugh, whissle and even do impressions of other people or do semi intricate tasks.

Sometimes I wake up usually from pain or a light. I am now looking for some ways to stop this as its is slowly grinding me down. I was perscribed clonazipam but this leaves me doped and does not always work. Does anyone have similar symptoms or have any positive treatment that has worked from them, I would be really grateful just to hear that other people have to live with this also.

Many thanks

Hi ryan,

i use to sleepwalk. I feel your discomfort. I think I have some suggestions that might help. I need more details about your case though.

I Sleepwalk Too [god Damn It!]
Hi Ryan I hear you, and I suffer too.

I am weired when I sleepwalk. I have a blank face no emotion and I do Weired stuff:

* open and close doors
* Sit up look around
* walk about aimlessly
* open and close the blinds

And if I am spoken too whilst in this state, I am really aggressive and foul tempered. And I say some horrible stuff.

And it is making my girlfriend angry with me, she doesn't seem to understand that I am not aware of what I am saying whilst in this state.

It is really getting on my Nerves any advice.
