Q: Miscarriage ?

I am 10 weeks pregnant and have been having some sharp pains in my uterus area. I am not bleeding. I have been reading a lot of books and articles online so I am afraid that maybe I am just freaking myself out. Is it possible to have a miscarriage without bleeding? Could it just be gas, because I am really constipated.

You will experience a lot of aches and pains during your pregnancy. During my first trimester, I had a lot of cramping. I was told, by my doctor, that unless the pain was unbearable or I was bleeding along with the cramping, not to worry. I am now closing in on 31 weeks and everything is just perfect. However, if you are still very concerned, call your doctor. They are there to help you along and answer any questions you may have.
