Panic Disorder Meshed With Random Symptoms
Posted: 06-13-07 22:48pm

I have have strange problems for over a year now. The first being sinus/ middle ear issues that bring on dizzy feelings which in turn induce anxiety. The second being right flank discomfort...not pain, just a strange feeling when i lay down on my left side, it almost feels like someone is pushing down on my "love handle" area. But once again, no real pain, just discomfort. And occasionally when i take a deep breath I can feel a pulling sensation in the same area...when also induces anxiety. I have also noticed that the muscle on my right side (external obliques) seem to be a more developed and visible than the left side muscles. Would an overdeveloped muscle produce any discomfort? I also have a very small, soft, moveable lump, on my shin, which has also produced some anxiety. It seems as though every random problem I find with myself puts the fear of cancer or another equally serious disorder into my mind. Panic attacks follow if I dwell on these issues, but I can usually talk myself out of them. I have bloodwork done that tested my complete blood count, H.Pylori, and kidney/liver function, that all came back good, and also a Fecal Occult Blood Test that was negative. I am not sure what is causing these damn symptoms, but my panic disorder is exasporating them exponentially! What should I do? More medical tests for peace of mind or zen buddhism...I'm desperate!
