Also, a doctor can work with you to make sure you don't acquire an addiction to the sleeping pills or antidepressants. Some of the things that you can do to help yourself are: make sure that you are following a healthy diet including lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, drink plenty of fluids to help flush the toxins from your body and keep yourself well hydrated, exercise atleast 20-30 minutes per day to help sweat out toxins, lower your anxiety and depression levels, help to ensure better sleep, and to increase fitness and stamina levels. All of the suggestions above help to induce feelings of well being and willpower which build a stonger, healthier mental core which is very important in your fight against addiction. Withdrawal symptoms and their duration depend on the dosage and length of time that you took the drug although the severity depends alot on your active role to decrease them.
