I started a colon cleanse and I think it has made me alittle sick. Is this normal? The release of toxins or something like that?

Colon Cleanse
When I first started colon cleansing I became really ill one day. I was told to continue because the body is starting to release the toxins from the body. Each person reacts a little differently on a cleansing program. But for me I actually threw up and was really shaky. But the next day I was fine. On the 3rd day after I was sick I passed a fairly large parasite.
So I would say it is normal for your body to react and feel a little ill when releasing anything toxic from the body. Keep going and should you still be ill I would go see a doctor to make sure you aren't coming down with something else. Keep us up to date on your progress

Thanks Goldiestar,

I have already had a few movements and I have been drinking lots of water. I have a friend who always get sick during a cleanse and even after a massage. Are there any foods I should avoid during a cleanse?

When I do a cleanse I try and stay away from refined sugars, coffee or caffeine and any fungus or yeast ie. mushrooms and breads or yeast based products. Also another thing to keep in mind is to try an avoid bananas as they will tend to constipate. Also lots of water is great! So keep it up and I am sure you will do great!
