Q: Moisture wicking clothes better for sports ? Under Armour Ap
asked by: DoctorQuestion on June 12th, 2007
I play football for my high school and have been looking into a Under Armour apparel, or other performance apparel. My question is, do they work? Is this technology more effective than the normal cotton shirt? What is the doctors opinion on these products? Thank you for the help.

From a medical point of view, the moisture-wicking "Under Armour Apparel" seems better for use than a t-shirt, because it's made of fiber that keeps a player clean and light during intense games and practice, unlike t-shirts that usually get soaked from sweat after many practices. So, it seems that yes, this product is more effective than cotton.
