ive been smoking for about 3 years but once i caught mono i stopped while i had the sore throat if i was around smoke or started again would it prolong the healing process of mono or wouldnt it really effect it.

I think it could prolong the healing process but im not positive. If you have any interest in quitting smoking, having mono is an excellent time to quit because you spend so much time in bed and less time awake and wanting to smoke.
