Confused Confused Confused Confused Rolling Eyes okay so I had an abortion on 4/24/07. I went for my 2 week check up 4 weeks later which was 5/24/07. when I went to the Dr. I had a little light show like almost watery pinkish red with cramping. I then got a pregnancy test which the Dr. said was slightly positive. she wanted me to go to the ER to rule out Ectopic but I didn't. I came home took another pregnancy test that showed negative. So I figure I'd wait it out. I did have unprotected sex with a condom break But took plan B the same day that happened. I have had unprotected sex with the pullout method before and since then. I, Till this day Eight weeks after the abortion have not had a period. I am confused. I have had some cramping which I thought was my period but nothing. My breast are tingly painfull at times but not constantly?????????? HELP. Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused

The best advice would be to take another pregnancy test and follow your doctor's advice!

And, in the future, the "pull-out" method is .n.o.t an actual method of birth control. Men produce a liquid called pre-ejaculate or pre-cum when they are aroused to clear out the urethra of any accumulated acid from urine. This pre-ejaculate can contain sperm which can get you pregnant.

If you do not want to become pregnant again, the best course of action would be to get on some form of hormonal birth control - the pill, patch, shot, or ring - which all offer 99% effectiveness if you use it properly. Also, unprotected intercourse leaves you at risk for infections. Please consider using condoms to fully protect yourself even if you are using an actual form of birth control.

Since it's been 8 weeks since the abortion, it is time for you to go back to the doctor. They can run more thorough tests there and tell you definitively whether you are pregnant again or not. In the future, please follow your doctor's advice.
