i have just started taking the pill (yasmin) i began taking it on the first day of my period, normally my period lasts 5-6 days but now after about 9 days i seem to still be on my period (though it is now really light, and was normal for the first few days)... is this just because my body is still getting used to it? anyone else had a similar problem? should i just wait for it to end and then see what happens on the next cycle of pills?

It's normal for your period to take a while to adjust. It will probably be weird for a couple of months. Just keep taking your pills and wait it out.
