Do the users who come here wondering if they are pregnant learn from their mistake or do they get caught in the same situation again? This is not valid for those triyng to concieve

How many times have you or your partner had a pregnancy scare? Was it due to no contraception or faulty contraception?

Were you more careful in the future or has it happened again?

What were the circumstances around your pregnanacy scare?

1) A mad night of passion where we forgot to use contraception?

2) A mad night of passion where the contraception failed?

3) You sometimes forget to use contraception

4) You regularly forget to use contraception

5) You were forced into using no contraception

6) You used contraception but were still scared

7) You never use contraception/or use the pull out method

Any other reason for your scare?

I voted 2-3. Once was before we were married - we used condoms, but I was just being paranoid. And two more after the birth of our daughter. I was (and still am) breastfeeding and was not ovulating yet, but the lack of a period made me nervous.

Great post, .Becks!

I voted 2-3 times.

The first time was horrible. I have a history of ovarian cysts that interupt my cycle. But that was the first time it happened, and I was quite young, so I knew for sure I was pregnant. Laughing The other two times, weren't really a scare/hope. I was pretty certian it was a cyst, but, I couldn't help but be concerned that I was pregnant. It's just a natural concern when af doesn't show up!

Oh...I was late 3 months each time. (before I went to the doctor)

i thought it was quite a juicy topic Wink

i have had it two or three times too. just because we were being 'relaxed' and using the pull out (non) method Laughing

i also voted 2-3 Laughing even though it was only twice.

the first time it was just me being silly and paranoid (we hadn't even had sex yet, we were just hot and heavy and all over each other and humping like mad dogs with nothing on, so like i said, i was paranoid and silly)

and the second time was when we had sex for the first time, the condom came off during the act lol i would have swore on my life that i was pregnant, but nope.

I only thought I might be once. It was about a year or two ago, but I would not say it was a "scare" exactly. I was an adult and was finished with college. My period is usually pretty regular, but that month I was about five days late. I have not been at all careful with birth control over the past two years or so, so I am starting to think I might not be able to conceive at all. We also often use the pull out (non) method. Laughing So I guess you could say we are sort of "unofficially trying" if that makes any sense at all. Laughing

I never had scares when I was younger because I went on Depo very soon after becoming sexually active as a teen.

i voted 2-3 times.

i went on the pill when finn was 2 weeks old and i'd never been on it before so i didn't know what to expect. i got my first 3 periods on it like clockwork and then missed my next 2 completely. so even though i was on the pill and taking it correctly, i was still very paranoid (i tested like 5 times). i talked to a nurse after missing my second one and she said it's very common with the pill i was on to miss periods completely, so i didn't worry at all when the following period didn't show on time (then i went off the pill and i bled for over a week instead).

actually, i just remembered one more scare... the first time i had sex (i was 1Cool, it was unprotected and he pulled out. i don't remember if i was late or not, i think i just convinced myself that i was pregnant since we didn't use anything.

so 3 for me!
