Q: Burning Head of Penis , Sore Testicles, And Pain In Abdomen

I have the symptoms listed in the subject and have been to a doctor twice. He is assuring me that I do not have an STD, but he can't explain the pain. I have had two urine tests now that look for (i think) extra white blood cells that might be a sign of an infection, but both can come up saying that I am fine.

I also have a terrible headache (I never get headaches), sore ears, and sore eyes. This may or may not be related.

The date of intercourse was about 3 weeks ago, and I initially thought I had some STD, so I took a dose of doxycycline. That didn't work and then I took a dose of azithromycin. But I still have these horrible symptoms.

Could it be that I have a resistant strain of an STD?

My doctor barely listened to what I was telling him, but the pain is real and it must be coming from something??

Can anyone please help?

Thank you.

Hmm. I am not sure what that might be. Is there any way you could get a second opinion from a different doctor?

I just saw another doctor and he also is telling me not to worry because he did a urine sample for bacteria and found nothing. Perhaps all the antibiotics I have been on have skewed the test??

But the pain is real - and I cant see how this would be a coincidence after having unprotected sex.

I am in Asia and cant communicate very well with these doctors and wont be back home for a months. I feel like I am getting worse - especially the lower abdominal pains. Can anyone please give advice on what might be wrong based on these symptoms. I am very worried about this and cant sleep.

Unexplained Pain In Groin.
I also have this unexplained pain in my testicles and penis which also goes up into my fingers and legs sometimes. I had sex and felt this strange pain going into my body. Have been to several doctors to have std test and all came back negative. Is there anyone that have had this from sexual intercourse? Is it something that is new and no research has been done on it? I am still having a dull pain in my groin area. It has been almost a month now that this pain has been with me. Please let me know if anyone else out there is having the same symptoms. Thanks for listening. Rolling Eyes

pains/burning in penis, testicals and lower abdomen
I have been experiencing the exact same things penis pains burning after urinating, and after ejaculation pain in testicals and lower abdominal area inflamed blood vessels on head of penis etc. i have had lots of tests both at doctors and STD clinics all of which came back negative includfing blood tests for things like reiters desiese and different types of arthuritus. I keep being told it must be a physcological thing but i know it is not. I have recently been informed of an infection called MYCOPLASMA GENITALIUM which is almost exactly the same as clymidia however this infection is not tested for and can only be treated by very few antibiotics which one you need will depend upon how long you have had the infection, you may need a mix of the 2. I think this infection is a possibility for you please look it up, hope you have more look than i did when you mention it to your docftor

Hidden Bacterial STD Infection
It is Mycoplasma Genitalium and it is an STD but they do not look for it in testing STD's. So, if you are having the test done in preventing from getting an STD from your partner you better be very careful because one of you may have this STD which is not showing up in thier testing. This is why all your std test are coming back negative as mine did also. Doctors are not looking for it at all because it is a hard bacteria to find and a long drawn out test if they do test for it. Antibiotics just makes things worse. Plan on living with this condition until something comes along to knock this out. May God be with you on finding help. Write or call your congressperson to investigate this for you.
