I have no idea what to think. A friend had colon cancer a year ago and had surgery to remove part of her colon. A year later she goes into have a colonoscopy and the doctor sees tissue near the old surgery that he is certain is cancer. He even went so far as to tell her husband how aggressive he would need to be with treatment...surgery, chemo and radiation and removal of her rectum which means a bag. They went through the weekend waiting for a biopsy results that everyone one wa certain was cancer. Unbelievably, the biopsy was negative...no cancer!! Everyone was absolutely amazed...even her doctor. Doc told her that that only thing he could come up with himself is that her tissue is still kind of raw from surgery. IF you got this news, what would your reaction be? Would you get a second opinion or believe its a miracle? Also, has this ever happened to anyone else? Is it common? THanks for your patience and answers!
