I have bullemia - I know its a problem and I need help but I am worried about my teeth.

Whilst I have this issue is there something I can do to combat the acid from my stomach causing issues to my teeth ?

I know the obvious answer is to stop purging but that type of response wont help right now.

there isnt anything to help other then stop purging, no matter what when u purge the acid will affect your teeth, id recommend getting professional help , bulimia is a serious disease and can potentially kill u.

There must be something alkaline based to off set the acid I can wash my mouth with.

There is nothing. I have tried. I am 24 and take really good care of my teeth but 12 years with bulimia has left them almost brittle. My teeth have actually begun to break.

Diane is right. The only way that you can stop that is stop throwing up. If you don't stop, no matter what else you do to help your teeth, they will rotten. This is only one consequence of throwing up, believe me, you will want to stop.
