hello, if this has been going on this long, it's time to see a doc. they will be able to prescribe something for you.

I just recently started taking celexa (after being off paxil for 2 yrs) and it has worked wonders. This may not be the right one for you, so talk to a doc.

Good luck!

You need to discuss your problems with your doctor, sickofbeingsick. Be aware that Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and other gastric tract problems often occur with anxiety disorders.

The gut is directly linked to the brain via the vagus nerve and serotonin, the neurotransmitter most linked with anxiety (and depression) is also abundant in the gut. In fact about 98% of the serotonin in your body is utilized in the gut, blood vessels and skin, with most active in the gut.

You may want to check out the panic disorder boards and give cbt a try for the panic and agoraphobia.
