Facial Pain / discomfort On Left Side of Face . Posted: 06-11-07 03:32am


Hello, I suffer from facial pain/discomfort on the left side of my face. This condition tends to have the effect of making me feel sleepy on that side of the face only - weird or what? I have sought medical attention over the years and even had an MRI scan - all to no avail. doctors can seem to sort it out for me. Any ideas what this might be and or treatment for it would be appreciated. Thank you, David

Welcome to .ehealth! I'm sorry that the doctors haven't been able to help. That can be so frustrating. Is the pain sharp or dull? Is it constant or occasional? Do you notice any triggers? Maybe stress or weather? I hope your feeling better soon!

The pain is rather a dull ache that is constant and makes me feel fatigued on just the one side of the face - the left side.
