So i had unprotected sex on June 8th 2007 around 12 am..

my boyfriend and i decided to try emergency contraceptive pills since i am not on birth control anymore.

I went to walgreens and the pharmacy gave me Plan B (it was 42 bucks! yikes!!) You are supposed to take the first pill asap no longer than 72 hours (3days after unprotected sex) and the second pill 12 hours later.

So I took the first one at 7:24 pm last night (june 9th) But I didnt take the second one till 10:30 am this morning (june 10th!!) Do you think that affects how the pill works? i know its not 100% effective but because i didnt take it 12 hours after i took the first one like the directions said. did i just increase my chance of being preggo?

I don't know well how plan b works, but I would assume that using it incorrectly would decrease how effective it is and increase your chances of becoming pregnant.

Don't Worry
Don't worry, you're fine...I'd suggest next time taking it at the right time tho... be responsible about it.

I wouldn't worry too much about the time difference, however, you need to realize that plan b is not 100% effective even if you do take it right. Regular birth control is more effective, and not having sex is the most effective. (But no fun Wink )

So if you did get pregnant, I would guess that it was because of just bad luck, not the time delay.
