Q: Hernia Repair And Work

Question hi, my husband had surgery 2 weeks ago for inguinal hernia repair, it was donw under workmans comp because he hurt himself at work. He returned to work today and just called me and told me he was in alot of pain and the boss at work told him to see the surgeon again before he comes back to work again. The surgeon told him he could return to work on full duty (they have no lite duty). He had the surgery laporoscopically, and I know the healing time is much faster for this procedure than an open repair, but it stills seems much too soon for him to be going back to work. Does anyone know anything about this, I don't want him to hurt himself again, possibly worse this time. Thanks for any input.

Nina
