On june 4th my mom colapsed in the bathroom, we did CPR untill the paremedics came. they rushed her to the hospital, and she was in a coma for 2 days.

the doctors arnt shure what happened, they said that it wasn't a heart attack or stroke, and all of the MRI and CAT scans are clear.

anyways, she is awake now, and talking, she seems like her old self, exept her memory is a little scrambled, but she knows who everyone is, and today she read some of her get well card.

The only thing i'm worried about is that, if we come in and visit her, and than go home for an hour and come back, she wont remember us coming the first time. and when we are talking to her she will all of a sudden ask where someone went, and that person wasnt even their to visit her that day. so their is something wrong with her short-term memory.

It has only been 5 days, and she has improved allot in that time, but I just need to know, will her short term memory come back? will we have to work on it? or will she be like that forever?

I'm 16, and i have a 14 yearold sister. she is a single mom. and obviously me and my sister still depend on her. I just realy want to know if she will ever be back to how she used to be?

According to your description your mother might had transitory ischemic attack (TIA). At the beginning it looks like stroke but all symptoms disappear in several days.
Does your mother still have short-term memory problems?
Can you give me some more information about your mother: medical history, personal data (age, profession, weight, hight, climax...) etc.
